So what model sliders are those? I thought the WJ models mounted to the outside of the pinch seam?

Just added a johnny joint in place of the upper control arm bushing on the diff side of the front axle

Currie Enterprises CJ Axle Parts

Had to enlarge the slots in the IRO long arm camber adjust but that was pretty easy to do with a file and die grinder.

Had to pull the tire and droop it fully to get the spring out. Used a air hammer to remove the old rubber bushing, took about 10 minutes with the air hammer then pounded the new johnny in with their driver tool and a 3 lb hammer.

Here are installed pics

Thanks for the info. I've seen something like them before on Ebay, but didn' know how good they might be and if they fit well. Looks like they do.

i love the bumper. only drawbacks are it is heavy as hell and you are limited on which winches will work on it, for example none of the newer warns with integrated selenoid packs will fit in it.

How are you liking that JJ with the long arm? I'm thinking about this same set-up for my jeep.

definitely makes it a bit stiffer, have not flexed it out yet or ramped it, doubt it changes much since I am limited in the rear on the ramp.

Did you notice any more chassis vibes after the JJ or about the same? I guess what I mean is can you feel more vibes in the feet over the rubber mount? Everyone says poly causes more chassis vibes to be felt throught out the jeep.

I think they are about the same. Did not really notice anything different from vibes. The lower mounts at teh axle are still rubber so maybe those are more important?
