This is a very nice setu you have going here. Lots of pics and ideas .... thanks!
Just curious though ... what made you got w/ the Crager 15x8's? I'm looking at the Soft 8's as well, but in 15x7 in 4" BS. Do you think I'd have the same fit/ grind issue that you had?
Lastly, thanks for the side pic of your Jeep after painting the cladding. I'm going for the exact same look, and I like the ARB. Thanks for the inspiration.

How did it run you to get that ARB installed? I have one for my 30, just curious to see how much my wallet is going to shrink. You can pm if you don't want to post it in here.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing with some lights in my ARB. The marker lights in my ARB are not wired in, so I'm looking at filling the hole and adding some round lights ~ 4" wide. What did you use to cut the hole, just a hole saw?

The front ARB was $250 plus parts I think, figure $100 for master kit, and then gears if you are regearing.

I just used a bi-metal hole saw from home depot. real slow but effective.

thanks. I went with 15x8 so I could got to bigger tires in the future. no clue on the 15x7s but I doubt you would have any clearance issues

Yeah get the long arms and ditch TC drop they are worthless. Should be able to take care of any pinion angle issues with the long arms once they are on.

Kind of figured it would be around that. Looks like that will have to wait. Rig looks great!

Just finished reading the thread. Very nice. Have a question for you. I noticed in a prior photo that shows the new long arm lower that you put in. They lift kits I have looked at talk about cutting off the old mounting bracket. Did you ever do that or leave it there? If still there, have you noticed and bumping of the new lower on the bracket? Also Rock Kralwer, the company Im buying my short arm kit from, is stating that I need to use a 4" backspace on the new rims. Do you think 4.5" would be ok? Having trouble finding 4" ones that look good.

I am running the standard IRO arms which are bent and you do not have to remove the old CA mounts. The straight high clearance IRO LAs have tohave the mounts cut off.
Summit has Cragar soft 8s and another brand of d window rims that have 4" of BS in a 5x5 pattern. The d's may actually be 3.75". If you are going to steel 15inch rims, then you need at least 4" of BS, or the 3.75" would work as well. In terms of BS, 3.75 is more than 4" if that is not confusing.

it was a bunch of small things, JKS trackbar would not stay tight at the jam nut, trackbar bolt holes at the axle and frame were ovalled out. Bad control arm bushing, and old stabilizer.

I like the headlights. Where did you pick them up? I'm in the process of purchasing items for my WJ and the headlights on my '04 are really worn on the outside.
