the ones I have seen set up with a dedicated winch usually run the winch so that it pulls down on both sides using pullies running from one side to the other, with the winch mounted in one fender well adn the hook attached in teh other fender well.

That sounds like it would work better, with the pressure more evenly distributed across the axle.

not sure where you would hide the winch or mount the hook without doing some heavy reinforcing, gonna be some serious strain when it is sucked down.

If you figure out a good plan I may copy it, lol, I have seen them on TJ's and they really make a difference, especially being able to suck down the front on a steep climb to keep weight on the front.

I have been thinking of hooking my airlift bags on my rear to selenoids and being able to adjust the ride height in the rear the same way. Either run them up or down to change the rear by an inch or two. I already have air with my ARBs so it would just be some tubing and a couple of selenoids and a switch.

you can use a center limit strap with 2 inches of length at static height. still lets you get full articulation.

i'm pretty intrigued to see how you run the suck down winches. i've considered running them not so much for wheeling but more so my mom can get in and out of my jeep without a stepstool haha

Son of a gun! What're you going to do about it? That's majorly frustrating. Darn but I wouldn't expect something like to just happen. Did you jump the Jeep over a canyon?

I think it was a combination of skinny pedal and big *** rock. Followed with I think I can I think I can ..... well maybe a different line. What was that? It doesn't matter I made it up.

Yea the other day I ad the wheel turned all the way and was backing up and it was rubbing. I didn't think much of it at the time just figured I blew apart the rough country control arm bushings. Ill take a BFH to it tomorrow and straighten it out the best I can.

It seems that the Rough Country bushing held up pretty good considering. What a mangled mess though. At least it didn't tear clean off or something that'd have been disastrous.

Are you going to make long arms when you swap everything in?

Or run Claytons or iron rocks ling arms.
