I was just trying to joke, but sometimes they come across less than stellar when via text. Yeah, I'd hate to ruin a nice wheel on the rocks. What're you doing with the wheels you have now though?

Yes, it snows in Texas.

What? Your foas, have they even shipped yet? I ordered my first set on 4-7-11 and I just got them.

I know their warehouse is here in California. So maybe the shipping is taking a while.

What spring rates are you getting? And length, of course.

Mine

Have not ordered springs yet. I am waiting to get the final weights of everything I am putting before I order the springs. I got the 2.0 14" travel with remote reservoir shocks.

Forgive me for my stupidity, but I have never heard of a suck down winch. What are they used for?

Edit: after thinking about it I'm guessing they are used to compress the suspension when it may be needed. I just can't figure out when it would be needed.

a suck down winch is used for compressing the suspension on real steep inclines to help lower your center of gravity. when i am done with my suspension it should sit about 8'' over stock and with the 37's it will be way the hell up there. you can also use them to held you get more traction to get over the tough spots on the trail.

yeah I want to see where you mount them.

A lot of peeps just run their front winch down to the axle. Hard to do on a WJ as they are so long inthe front.

Yea mounting the front one is going to be a little bit of a challenge. I believe I am going to have to mount the from one to the back side of the axle similar to the way some people mount there full hyro double ram. The rear one should be a litte bit easier to mount.
