might want to think twice about using the double lock tube couplers, i have spoken with dan at rough stuff specialties on the subject, he recomends avoiding them, as the day may come that it is time to remove what ever you wanted, but when you put it back on, any minor tweeks will play havoc with you.

we used them on the cage of my friends razor with a r6 motor and after 7-13 complete rolls it still lines up pretty well. Granted the razor doesn't weigh as much as my dub. So I don't know how they would hold up on heavy vehical like my dub. We also used them on my other friends tj known as project stretch it on pirate 44 with out problems yet.

You've got plans that will iron out the damage though. So you're going through with the axle swap and the whole shebang?
Yea as of right now the buggy is dead in the water. So the only other option is to go ahead and build my dub. Right now I am just waiting on an open spot in the shop to start tearing mine down and starting. They where supposed to come and get the scout we are working on and tale it to the body shop but its still sitting here.

No real updates I am still waiting for an open spot in the shop. I still haven't gotten all of my ballistic joints. After ballistic got kicked off of pirate4by4 I am getting worried that I might not get all of them. If something doesn't haven soon with my joints I will have no other choice but to get jonny joints instead.
Anyone know of any other joints besides ballistic and jonny joints?
The only thing that I have done lately to my wj is last weekend I trashed my front spider gears on this little 1 1/2 foot tall ledge.

I am not really sure why they where kicked off. I have heard some rumors however I do not know the truth. Ballistic had there own vender's section but it has been deleted/closed and all of there employee members have been banned.

I think he's looking for joints, not heims. Trail gear has their own joint similar to johnnys and ballistics joints.
Might look in to that.

Whats wrong with Johnny Joints? Rubicon Express and Rockrawler also have flex joints.

Oh, check out Summit Machine's Jimmy Joints too. I've never seen/used one, but have read good things about them.

Personally, I would stay far away from RE and especially RK flex joints. Ballistic and Summit Machine are far superior flex joints, and of course, completely adjustable without having to be removed. Currie's johnny joints are quality, but the adjustment of the Ballistic/Summit Machine joints is a great feature, which Currie's joints lack.

I like the red with those flares, which I often don't like, and the front bumper in black. The contrast is nice. The wheels look good, too. I can't wait to see the end result.
