Why is it ok when an xj has 40+ tires but not a zj??

What makes it truly so hard for a zj to have the ability the xj has for fitting large tires?

Nobody said it was easy I just want to know why more xj's have 40+ tires and work smoothly but that is unheard of on a zj for the most part. What makes it easier on the xj is my question

So to you there's no better reason to stuff 40+ tires under xj than price? Not busting your balls it's a legitimate question.

Maybe not on here. Many more xj's were made than zj's so it wouldn't surprise me. xj's are cheap and parts are plentiful. Check out MallCrawlin and you'll see tons of people on tons and 40's.

Cheaper to buy=more money for play. I have $7800 in my grand. Is it lifted? Nope.

Yes. But like I said before, there are a lot more xj's than zj's. You'll be able to find an xj anywhere for cheap. It's not easy to stuff 40's under any Jeep. It takes a lot of time, knowledge, and most importantly, cash. It really has nothing to do with the vehicle in terms of difficulty.

not here! all the XJs for sale here are way more expensive than ZJs. seems like you cant even touch a clean 90+ XJ here for under 3 grand, and 97+ for under 4-4500. thats why i got a ZJ, i was originally looking for an XJ, but there was no decent ones for sale in my price range. i think now the only way id get an XJ is a 4 banger 5 speed 2wd for fuel economy as a DD, unless a really clean 96 classic fell into my lap

same reason you see more TJs on 40's than XJ's. quantity and aftermarket support.

there are more XJ's out there to start with, and the Xj has more aftermarket support for it.
