x2. Most likely they sent you the wrong springs. If you had them send you 8" springs, you would likely be too tall then. It's simple physics with springs, the spring rate dictates how much the spring will compress under a given load. They wouldn't sag that much. Figure that if those were actually 4.5" springs, they gave you 5" of lift, which is what most manufacturers do. They usually give you more than advertised. Perfect example, my OME coils were advertised for 1" of lift, but I got nearly THREE!
If it were me, I would be pressing BDS to send you "another" pair of 6" coils. I bet they are different than what you have. Then you can send them back and rub it in their face. I'm guessing that, like my OME coils, there is no way to verify part number? Like it's not stamped on the coil somewhere? My coils had a cheesy sticker with the p/n, but that promptly came off.
Oh, and for reference, your 5.9 doesn't weigh hardly anything more than a 5.2. Most of the differences are internal (rods, crank, etc).

According to BDS theres an all around 150-200 pound difference upfront from the 5.2 and 5.9. And the part numbers that were on the box matched what was on the web site for the coils. This is the second set of front springs iv had that sagged around 2"s. the whole reason I ordered these was cause I was told they wouldn't sag as bad to what I had in there before hand. I called them before I ordered these and asked about the sagging, I was told it would sag about 1"-1.5"s cause of the V8 which I was fine with as I had planned to add an extra spring isolator to help level it. I'd rather the jeep have a "hotrod" stance then ride high in the front.

The difference between a 5.2 and 5.9 engine is none at all. The tranny in the 5.9 ZJ (or early 5.2) is about 40 - 50 lbs heavier than a 96 - 98 5.2 tranny, IIRC. There is a little extra weight in the other 5.9 stuff, but I would figure the 5.9 ZJ is no more than 70 lbs heavier up front than a 5.2.
They probably base their lift ratings off a 4.0, which would be about 150-ish lbs lighter on the nose.

I would agree, I have helped a couple buddies do 5.9 swaps (2 in trucks, 3 in Jeeps), the weight difference is hardly noticeable at all.

I wouldn't even both with putting it in the tank. It's not that strong. The reason it's effective through the brake booster is because it soaks into the carbon, which loosens it up some.

What exactly are the HID's doing that are not letting them work right? Mine have no problems. Do you have an HID harness for them? Our Jeeps have a lot of trouble with HID's without a harness as not enough current or whatever can not power the ballasts. Therefore you need the direct battery power for them.

Every bi-xenon kit (which these GC's use) I've ever seen comes with a battery harness. Has to in order to get the relay that controls the bi-xenon functioning.
Not to say that the chinsy $15 harness they give you is worth anything, but it's probably better than using the stock wiring (which isn't saying much). Build your own.

Its powed by the relay. The jeep says there are in high beam mode and wont click out of high beam mode. Not sure if its something in the kit is wrong or if its the jeep. My buddy bought the same exact kit and we installed it in his mustang the same way as the jeep and he has no problems. We'v tried switching the polarity to and it effects nothing. The kit should have been a high and low beem kit.
