where to put the fire extinguisher?

I had to get a fire extinguisher to run with a local club.

Where are you guys mounting yours?

i had 2 mounted in the back underneath the windows but moved one right in between my seat and the door.i suggest putting one between the drivers seat and door.i thought i had to use it one night.jumped out and grabbed it at the same time rather quickly.ended up not needing it but it just showed me how good of a spot that is and how quick/easy it can be pulled out when needed.

Any pics so we can see the mounting brackets...size of the bottle. Just to get an idea. Doesn't seem like much room although it does sound like a good idea.

I'd like to find somewhere close to the driver side to mount it.
While the back is a possibility, it seems smarter to make it extremely easy to access.

I'm curious to see how you mounted it. I don't think mine will fit between the seat and door, mine is a 3lb bottle.

On my ZJ I had it stuck to the right wheel well carpet, and eventually ended up mounting it into the hollow area behind the wheel well hump. (Came with a bracket that stuck to velcro or carpet, so easy as pie.)

Had it stuck to the carpet in my WK, but it was chewing it up pretty bad. No idea where it's going to end up yet.
