Bleed the brakes, they're amazingly better now. I don't think the previous owner bleed them in several years.

Did you just bleed them or flushed out the old fluid too?

My fronts are at least all clear - got tired of fighting with the "One Man Bleeder Kit" from Autozone, so didn't feel like fighting the back. Ordering Speed Bleeders next month sometime so I can bleed in minutes with no silly container or helper

yesterday we started the lift kit on "CMARJEEP"'s jeep, we finished at about 12:20, it went rather well.

Andy lots of people doing full axle/suspension swaps at once just cut off the control arms with a sawzall instead of removing the bolts. Is just easier. A grinder will make short work of removing the existing bolts

Put my trail kit and MV50 compressor in the Heep (CO2 is dead empty ). Maybe that'll make me that much more inclined to wheel tomorrow

i guess it makes sense, but in my junk yard, obvoiusly it would be kinda hard to bust out the sawzall, or grinder, and i dont it would be smart to cut my RE control arms in half to drop my axle, so i am used to just undoing nuts and bolts.

yeah the bolts were a pain so we just cut the upper AND lower control arms off... didnt wanna bother with them

the guy i bought it from is real nice...hes a member of Colorado4x4.org... i posted in the wanted section there and he pmed me saying he had what i needed.

i got to cleaning up the axle a bit and damn that is a pain in the ***... im thinking im just gonna gut it and take the whole thing to a sandblaster and have them sandblast it for me... i heard theres a shop just 5 minutes from me that would do it for 30-35 bucks

also... im picking up my d44a next week so ill have 2 axles to work on at the same time...haha yay
