I just put a Detriot TrueTrac in my d35 today. Pretty cool so far.

Took another look at the rear bumper..... my kid backed into one of those "I'm not moving out of your way" concrete light pole stands.
..pushed the rear passenger side corner in and broke the tail light.. UGH!

then spent the day calling around to find a used replacement that I won't have to paint...

Opened it up and tried to start it, no dice. Battery is done. The terminals are all corroded. I'll get back to it in another 4 months and try to awaken it from the dead.

Got the Black Diamonds installed on the back. Trying to find the energy to do the front. Maybe I will do the OME SS. I am dead, had to put a boat together at work and nothing is worse than working on boat all day then coming home dead tired and trying to work on the Jeep. I am going to try to find my second wind.

Edit: Well I finished the fronts so everything is on. Took it for a test drive and my wheel feel off... j/k. The test drive was awesome, they rode great. My old shocks suck compared to these. I give them an A+.

I installed my tow hooks today.

Oddly enough there was a passenger side backing plate and clip already installed. No bolts or other signs, just the backing plate and clip. Weird.

So if anyone needs the passenger side stuff that the bolts thread into, lemme know. I've got an extra set.

I also bought new hood struts, since mine seemed to have totally given up all of a sudden. I'll get those installed tomorrow.

And I bought a plastic rivet gun.

andy and i finally installed my 2.5" coil lift. no hold ups except for the last coil in the front we had to take the control arm off to get the axle to drop enough to get the coil in. there are only two things. one is that there is a little thumping in the back which i think is just a loose bolt that i will check out tomorrow. the other is that when we went to test drive i got it up to 80mph no problem but right after i hit the brakes a little to slow down i got pretty bad death wobble. it shook the whole jeep violently. i tried to re create the death wobble though and i couldnt so i dont know if it was just a one time thing or not. i need to get some new shocks now and an upgraded steering stabilizer. looks good though. leveled her out and gave her a nice stance. better pics to come tomorrow....

just the rears in... hit the drag strip maybe???

FPKites,

since it hasn't been started in awhile, the ketchup stain must have been in another Grand.
