well since this started yesterday I will tell you what I did last night.
I wiped the rear bumper down with acetone and then used all the primer I had (one can). But that only covered about a third of it. So the lovely wife is buying more primer and paint today.

Charlie, I kicked mine too. She is just sitting in the driveway. Most of the parts are in. I'm still waiting on the bellhousing and one more piece that is scheduled to come in on the 15th. I hate cutting things close. (to the trip)
Anyway, I ordered some more small things.

Drove it .3 miles to the gym, then .3 miles back. That's about all she's done for the past 2 weeks, been taking public transport to work and getting groceries and stuff on the way home. Haven't put any gas in her in a month - and still have 1/2 a tank! That's gonna change this summer, though, big trips planned!

Drive on it, heats up the rubber and expands it giving it a temporary patch?

I hate those dam trees, try taking one or two of those to the foot when your out playing as a kid...yea I could afford shoes , I just didn't like to wear them when I was younger, although after a couple times stepping on those I got use to the idea.
