Went to the pick n pulls today. Didnt find too much. Pick up a set of wiper arms for someone. Then looked around the Durango's and found 5 with 242 D's on 97-99's. Took some pics and pulled the rear driveshaft off and found it had the 32 spline output shaft. Also the all of them had U-joint/double U-joint front drive shafts. Didnt have time to drop the TC to see the input shaft. But the lever and connector looked like a WJ's. Oh and also found my stash of WJ gas door stops. LOL

Poor thing. If you weren't so far away I'd ask you to grab the front bumper for me if it's in good shape. Just destroyed mine last weekend.

OT: Scheduled the WJ with Allstate's claims center to get an estimate.

Added a 8 relay bluetooth board to the WJ that is activated from my Galaxy SIII phone.

Here is a video I took. It starts of with me being about 20 yards from the jeep and at the end I'm about 80 yards from the jeep.

Bought one

Used to have an 01 WJ, drove a GMC Sierra Crew Cab for a few years and went back to the WJ.

It's an '03, Limited with 89,000k miles garage kept. It has these 20" wheels and the calipers were painted pink. I re-painted them as soon as I got it.

Picked it up for $8,500. BB & New Wheels & Tires to come shortly.

Waffling on buying new calipers all the way around. The brakes are currently seized up so I'll be replacing the rotors and pads... question now is whether or not to buy new calipers.

If they're seized, you NEED new calipers, otherwise you're not fixing anything.

Seized or stuck. Not sure I guess. It hasn't been driven in a year and when it goes into the gear the vehicle moves a bit but the brakes hold it in place. If I give it a lot of gas it will eventually move... but i'm afraid the brakes will crumble. lol.

Ah, ok. That could just be the e-brake mechanism being stuck if it sat with the e-brake applied. Although, after sitting, seized brake calipers are definitely a risk.

The e-brake wasn't set when I parked it. I'm suspecting calipers. Not that I want to spend another $300 - $400.

Calipers shouldn't be that expensive. Looking at the Advance Auto website, after core returns, a full set of calipers for a WJ with Akebonos is $213 + tax. Then add pads and rotors.
