I know that you'll try this but, check the fluid first. I've heard it unlock with a slight pop to a hard, gut wrenching thud.

The current fluid has been in there since since the June 14th or 15th. That was when Steve checked the wear pattern on the gears.

But what I am most concerned with is after the pop the diff has been smoother than it ever has before.

Well,

give it some gas (on a loose surface) in a turn and see if it locks up again. Then while driving straight, it should unlock after a short drive.

Have done that. It locks one the loose stuff. But on paved road in turns when you gas it before it would push (because it would lock) now it goes thru the turn like an open diff. But on gravel both rear wheels are locked in both forward and reverse.

Looks good Eliott!

Let's see, I ordered a new radiator, and a Delta Current FK 35 to control the fan speed when I pick up a Taurus 3.8L radiator fan. Going electric!

Also ,figured out that the front end suspension noise i have is the loose top bolt of my JKS Discos. Now if it would just stop raining...

I stripped 250 lbs of copper cable i got from working the weekend while installing a new service in an office building.

250 lbs of copper = $500+
Also worked 18.5 hours overtime at double time.

And what does that have to do with the Jeep?

$500 copper+ what ever the dubletime adds up to.....
Two new EMO shocks and 4 new BFG tires and a new hiem joint for the rear control arm.

I'm so happy I've got a woody.
