Blew up the right front CV joint in my ZJ this weekend pulling my brother out of alot of muck. Even though she busted on the first attempt she still pulled him out. Probably thanks to the 5.2.

I wanted to replace the front shafts with the u joint type shafts but needed to get it done quickly - so I ended up replacing the half shaft with the cv type from Autozone. $70 with a limited lifetime warranty. Changed out the diff oil while I was at it.

Drove it, through stupid traffic to Best Buy & bought the wife & daughter a Wii.

Also ordered a set of sliders over the weekend. I think I have done my share to Stimulate the economy!

Well it turns out I have plenty of new scars. The bottoms of the sliders are scratched and scraped to hell, so they pass the test. The roof along the passenger side is pretty scratched up, probably enough to warrant a professional detail for the whole Jeep in the spring.

I an must surprised that I hit something hard enough to put a dimple in the ARB bumper Its right between the tow points and the only thing I can remember hitting that low is all the ice.

its a 60 amp heater that you put between the windshield washer pump and and sprayers, it heats the bug juice to 150degreesF in about 10 seconds, it supposedly get rid of mud better, but i got it for snow and ice, they are an option in some GM vehicles, friends avalanche has one, was really impressed and i saw it at princess auto for 35$ normal 260, so i thought i had nothing to loose

Our weather here that morning was cold and rainy. To avoid standing in line I bought my son's DSi off the internet the night prior instead. They were offering Black Friday prices.

Nothing done to the WJ. Headers are expected to arrive soon.

Replaced my blown fog lights, which don't seem to have a part number. Found the #s for an '04 instead, and made it work by trimming one of the plastic tabs on the bulb to fit the socket. Also replaced my under-hood light and picked up two bottles of mopar tc fluid.
