Replaced my water pump. Just in time by the looks of it. The bearing was so bad that the fins were grinding into the pump housing.

Today I decided I wanted to try out an expensive new mod on my trailer hitch, so I backed up into a 2010 Mercedes EAF (Expensive As ****)

I thought "If i hit it hard enough, it might get stuck to my hitch and Ill have a new Mercedes"

Upgrade to the Dana 44A rear axle is complete. Working those new u-joints into place proved to be challenging. Just about everything I came across that had rust was wire brushed or sanded, then primed and mostly repainted. I know I said I wasnt' in a hurry, but great fugnutz - where the heck are my Thorley headers??? I can't get the engine installed til they arrive. This delay sucks huge oyster snot.

( Why can't I post pics now? )

From the right side, using a rubber glove to keep the rain out.

Psh, you should have kept going. I mean, four wheel low, and then pin it. (I mean you already did the damage, insurance will cover the rest. xD)

Anyways, looked at my jeep, didnt feel like starting anything yet. So I called cosmos (junk yard) to see how much a dana 30 would run me.

tranny pan gasket story!

added a transmission drain plug and slick 50 to the tranny today. had the tranny serviced at the chrysler dealership in sept.. when i dropped the pan today they had put the pan back up after servicing w/no gasket only blue permatex!!!!!!!! whats up w/that? i called them at 3:30 and told them to bring me a gasket because i was sitting there w/ my thumb up my butt! they agreed and brought me out the whole kit including both filters. that was good service. i feel sorry for the tech on monday morning. oh well. he should have did it right the first time. you dont just accidentally overlook a transmission pan gasket. da!!!!!!!!!!!
