Today the passenger rear door lock actuator was swapped with a working junkyard unit. Thanks j.love. I finally got it in. But I didn't do it myself. This sucks, but at the rate I've been going, it'd be a year before it got installed. The turn signal module was also replaced. No more crazy turn signal when the lights are on. That was it all along. The guy working on it was tearing the entire front end apart trying to trace all the wires and grounds. Then he looked up the schematics for ZJ's and discovered it was probably the flasher.
ABS diagnostic was a no-go. The battery was drained while working on the lights yesterday so that the code was lost from this weekend. He couldn't get it to reproduce the reading so I'm to just keep driving and bring it in to be read the next time it shows up. Vacuum leak diagnostic is in progress, to be concluded tomorrow. Might have to put in a secondary reservoir to serve the climate control. After that, he's going to troubleshoot and see if there's something else draining the primary reserve canister. So far it seems that the reserve is good, but it might come down to replacing it as well. The guy working on it is helping me out and working it in between other jobs. Thus I don't have to pay full cost. Whoo for knowing people. At least I'll finally get this stuff managed. I wish I could get the lock sensor that deactivates the alarm fixed. I don't have the money to replace that as well though. I know, just do the alarm disable. I like everything to work though. I want my Jeep mint. It may not be, but I'm going to keep it as close as possible, and maybe someday I can actually lift it. :P |

Made some custom brackets so I can mount all 4 lights on the lower bar on the ARB. It almost looks like too much but you can't argue with 600 watts. Pics coming tomorrow.
