Tonight I will start the install of the KOR support and maybe the 3 core radiator as well. I am thinking I might want front tow points if we do much exploring on Monday.

I know it says "today" but, last weekend, new water pump, thermostat, hoses, fan clutch, and new power steering pump because I apparently don't know how to remove any hoses with out ripping off the nipples.

That doesn't sound right. . . Oh well. . .

I'm sure the pump was going to fail though, right? Sure.

Got a throttle body gasket so I can pull my throttle body and clean that up good, it's looking pretty nasty.

I'm also looking to replace my CV joints (gonna keep them CV but get the beefier half axles (right boot was torn and god only knows how long it's been torn). Figured I'd do them both and just be done. Would like to up my Alternator and also put in a 5.9 Efan (wish I thought of this before I did the fan clutch, but oh well.

Why?.......I run my 32's as a DD all the time.Your gas mileage will not be that much of a difference Ryan.

dropped 2mpg...Aluminum wheels with 31's are considerably lighter then 32's with steelies...Plus I accelerate slower, brake longer, etc...

Silly question, but did you calibrate your speedo after the larger tire size? That will screw with your MPG calculations.

Nope, but I account for that when I calculate it. with 31's my speedo is nearly dead on accurate. With 29's it reads fast, and with 32's it reads ~4% slow.

Ah okay, I had to ask. It's from past years of doing engineering support; troubleshooting an issue for hours only to find that the most obvious thing was never checked, like plugging in the power or something stupid like that.

Cleaned the throttle body and IAC, purrs like a kitten now. Intake manifold is looking real yuky down there, I guess one day I'll deal with that.

Hemi FINALLY sounds like it's got a pair...

Installed the airaid intake yesterday and the gibson single cat-back today, and the hemi FINALLY sounds like it should have from the factory. Nice and mellow at light throttle, with a nice subdued nascar sound at full throttle. Don't really care if the intake & exhaust add a few hp or if I gain or lose any mileage...I just wanted to be able to hear the engine!

I need to take a hacksaw to the exhaust tip tomorrow though...when I put it on I had to bend the lower edge of the rear bumper up a bit to wedge the resonatorin there (looks like a small 2nd muffler), so after install it looked like there was enough clearance between the tip and the plastic portion of the bumper. By the time I got home, the plastic on the bumper had re-formed to its original shape and was making contact with the tip of the exhaust...hot plastic doesn't smell nice. So I'll just hack off a little less than 2 inches and it'll do just fine without making contact with the bumper.

Drove down the road in my 03 Overland while thinking about a sharp looking 98 5.9 I saw. Apart of me would not mind having that one. but then the other part says, wouldnt that be stupid to get rid of an 03 Overland for a 98 5.9? Then I argue back saying, its not what "is" that matters, buyt what you want and like! and I liked that 5.9, the more i look at it, the more i like it

I rhinolined both front, rear and sliders recently. The painted bumper covers on my Overland looked beat up and the local paint shop wanted $1000 to fix them. $89 at Autozone and an evening with my Jeep and it looks like a Laredo on steriods!
