Went and had an alignment done after installing all the steering items yesterday. Thing drives like a dream! Then I took it to have it washed.

Washed it, cleaned my wheels so they shine, cleaned up the headlight*, waxed it, and cleaned the plastic side panels**.

*I used rubbing compound and the 10 year old lense looks just as good as the one thats a year old.

**I found this Dupont cleaner with Teflon in it and it made my side panels shine better than they did with Back to Black. I want to see how well this holds up over time though.

After 3-weeks of "2nd day air shippng", and the nightmare of having the wrong parts shipped to the mechanic, I finally dropped off the ZJ to get the rear diff rebuilt. Yahoo!!!

Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope that it's a quick turnaround.

I drove 30 miles to work. I'll probably drive the 30 miles back later.

Tonight after work I am going to be assembling the D30 and getting it ready to install. All new ball joints, hubs, rotors and axles. And sometime I should get around to installing the sliders too.
