Oil change and new cap, rotor, and plug leads on the 5.9L. She seems happier now.

Washed it so I could see if I need to tint my tail lights more or not. I like it, just need to give them a shiny clear coat!

Still waiting to put my new cooling fan on the WJ. This freakin' thing looks like it was made for a semi-truck engine. Tomorrows the day!

I will lift in when I have money. Hopefully by the end of the summer, if I can get a good job when I graduate in june. Its kind of clean. Not as lean as I wanted it, but there was a HUGE line at the carwash.

That blows, well the carwash over here on base is "broken" so FREE CARWASHES...I wonder when they're gonna notice the outragous water bill and realize they're not making any money. I feel kinda bad about doing it but then I remember how underpaid us E-1 to E-5 are for doin' crap for the E-6 and up so they can just sit on their butts all day...nope don't feel bad at all!

Put on my "first mod", a class III hitch. Spent 1.5 hours taking it off the donor at the junk yard and spent 10 minutes installing it on mine. Sheesh.

Spent from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday in the cold (since the garage door is broken) mounting my rear hitch and TC skid. No, I don't work that slow, I ran into several issues which held me back. Finally got that done, loaded up the Jeep and headed out at 8:00 am this morning for the Jeep's first wheeling trip!!

After fixing Ben's (Sporer65) idler pulley in the gas station parking lot, we headed out to meet up with some guys from Mallcrawlin'. The Jeep did great. I got hung up twice (on the same rock ), but that's to be expected on a BB. I was damn glad I put that TC skid on, though, because I bent it to hell and back.

Total trip carnage: Bent front tow hook, slight bend on crossmember, dented muffler (x2), and bent the TC skid all up. Not half bad considering the trail was much more difficult than we anticipated. I actually bent the skid bad enough that it pushed the transfer case back and gave me a nasty vibe until I got to the parking area and dropped the skid. Time for some BFH fun.

Some of you may recognize this other guy that was there :

Small trail report, for those interested:

Just finished repairing my intermittent wiper function. So easy to do. Should have done it weeks ago.
