i'm jealous. I have a garage, but its a one car garage, and too small for my jeep with all our bikes and crap in it, and no heat.
Yeah, our house has one of those tiny 1 car garages where you can barely open your doors once your in. We garaged the 65 stang before we took it to my FIL, and we couldn't get the doors all the way open lol.

Finished my DIY cold air intake and installed it. Also made a heat shield for it. For the actual tube I used a piece of exhaust pipe. Had him Tig weld a fitting on the intake for the vacuum line. Put a K&N filter on the end. Made the heat shield from some aluminum my buddy had lying around. Painted it black. Put weather striping on top to help make a tight seal with the hood.
I was really impressed with the difference it made. All I can say so far is WOW! It has a lot more throttle response throughout the whole power band. The exhaust note is deeper and more aggressive sounding. There is a whir in the front when given throttle! It will also break the tires loose from a dead stop take off. Never did this before. Has the NP249 and the 5.2.
Also I average about 3.5 mpg more than before. Tests were done on the same route with the same weight, gas, and speed. Before I was averaging 16.7 mpg and this time I was averaging 20.2 mpg. It was a 120 mile round trip.
Next is a set of plugs, wires, cap , rotor, and a 180* thermostat.

Today I replaced my rusted sticking stock hatch struts with quality ebay ones, and changed out my crappy Mobil 1 for sweet, sweet Rotella-T HDEO 10W-30. Clicked 97k the other day ... I'm not looking forward to turning 100k!

Had my 242J TC replaced in my 99 Grand Cherokee with a 242J out of an 03. Old TC was knocking like crazy. Sounds great and shifts into 4x4 way easier. Still hear a very faint knock in front end once in a while. Thinking Universal Joint maybe. ANy ideas?
