My TC is ok and does not leak. I bought fully rebuilt about 6 months ago, and is in perfect shape.
So other than the tranny output shaft seal, is there anything else that mates the TC with the Tranny ?
I saw a post mentioning a black seal not to many posts ago in this same thread?
I don't want to come up short again when I go to the dealer in the morning.
Thanks y'all for the help.
The TC input and the transmission output seals are very similar - check your part numbers, you might have the correct parts there.

It's just the tranny output and the TC input that keep the juice in the right places. You don't seal the edge of the TC.

I bought mine!

Today I traded my 95 hond accord plus $1500 for a 94 grand cherokee limited 4x4. The CV boots need replacing, (I think the joints are ok) And the frickin tires are a death trap, some trim needs to be secured, but other than that, Its perfect.

I love my jeep.

Any pictures of the new jeep? What are your plans for it?

Mounted two $15 lights on the back bumper for reverse/flash people that are tailgating me lights, and bought 4 more hella 500's. Will be mounted on the roof. Any ideas for a "drop" light bar? The bottom of my roof rail is 7" away from my garage door. The hellas are like 7.5" tall when mounted. So I will need to drop the mount somehow and go that route.

Also took it to the upull junkyard to look for a 231 t-case. Found one in a 99 XJ but gave up about 25 minutes in.

Yes.. they gave me two TC input seals which are exactly the same. Probably that is where the whole mistake happens.
I am on my way now to get the correct output seal.
Thanks Jim.
Will keep you guys posted.

Put on a new rear wiper blade and give the mall crawler a bath

You can see the new shaved hood emblem, and black grill. I think it turned out pretty well IMO

Finally found the correct tranny output seal at Napa. The two stealerships I called did not stock them.
Took me all about 5 minutes to carefully tap it in place, and done.
About 1.5 hours reassembling everything, including my 2nd jack taking a crap on me and having to lift the TC under the Heep into a step bench by myself and then onto the tranny.
Leak checked ok after driving, topped it off a bit for what came out and hopefully it won't leak again for a good while.
Thanks to all for the help.

I added 1 more hella on top of my bumper. I moved the ones on the front to the top of the bumper. It looks sick. Pictures will come later tonight.
