This is an advertisement for a WJ pilot vehicle upgrade for use in leading large vans, semis, or trucks that are transporting illegal immigrants into the country.

So it's not for 007. It's an o doble siete de Bonos Jeep. Leave it to Mexico to build spy gear for something like this.

The Mexican narcotics traffickers use light trucks with total and offensive shield. Not only they are for protecting the passenger, but to attack from inside. The glasses measure 5,7 centimeters of thickness. The doors have impenetrable a ballistic steel plate. The rims are made to be able to roll up to 40 kilometers even ponchadas. And the latest: some vehicles count on steel windows to shoot, curve-slide awnings to give space him to a gunman and on special depots to spill oil and nails in the highway, in agreement with experts. A light truck used by the narcotics detectives who killed five police in Cananea 16 of May the last, drew attention. It had a special cabin in cajuela, constructed of steel and crystal of five centimeters of thickness, with a metallic ventanita to be able to install a machine gun. There there was a seat for a protected trigger man and with visibility for the attack. The vehicle also had in the awning a curve-slide ballistic steel window to allow to the exit of another gunman by the part superior. And it counted on rims protected against bullets and insurances " trabapuertas" , so that they could not be abrir from outside. One was defensive an offensive vehicle and not only. " Those light trucks leave the normality of the shield of vehicles in Mexico completely and the formal companies do not make those shields ofensivos" , it assured Esteban Hernandez, president of the Mexican Association of Blindadores de Automóviles (AMBA). " The shield of a vehicle must be defensive, nonoffensive. Those shields are not of protection. No company would be arranged to do eso" , it indicated. " That work surely did in a factory of them with specialists to his servicio" , it added. The narcotics detectives of Cananea used seven armored vehicles of level 5 to kidnap and to execute five municipal police of Sonant. The shield of level 5 is used by civil servants of high level and executives of the great companies. The crystal resists impacts of AK-47 and AR-15. He is one of the safest and expensive shields. Each shield has a cost of 70 thousands to 90 thousand dollars, additional to the value of the vehicle. And each light truck arrives even though up to two tons and average (the shield weighs more than one ton). Another expert in armored security and vehicles affirmed that they have found light trucks to the service of the drug trafficking that spill oil and nails; also there are vehicles that throw tear gas and generate unloadings electrical when they are touched. The federal government does not have registry of the vehicles armored in the country. There is an estimation of which they exist more than 15 thousand cars with shield in Mexico, fundamentally used by civil servants of high level and industralists of important companies, but the authorities do not know how many units are in the hands of delinquents. In the government of Vicente Fox there was an attempt to make a register of armored cars to force the companies to notify to the federal government on the clients who buy the vehicles, but the initiative did not happen of some meetings with companies. The code of ethics of the AMBA establishes that the companies must be honest and to operate with the best levels of ethics and responsibility to preserve the values of the public interest. The AMBA considers that the shield is for preserving La Paz, the tranquillity, the security, justice and the dignity. " If a person gets to us to request an offensive shield to us, we would not be arranged to do it. That shield stops being of protection. And if it is not an official organization the one requests that it, does not have hacerse" , Esteban explained Hernandez.
