What cladding should I get?

I have the chance to get some stock deep slate 5.9 cladding from Dillonzj or I can get the steel KOR cladding that's coming out soon. I was planning on getting the KOR cladding but now I'm undecided.


My Jeep with stock cladding. There's a couple pictures of it in my gallery space.

This is the WJ KOR cladding. The ZJ cladding will be flat steel not diamond plate.

I have always thought about making some metal cladding pieces. I would go that route if you have the equipment to pull it off and don't mind drilling into your doors.

You should a poll for this.

i dont really like the diamond cladding. i hate to be "artsy" about it, but a blacked out jeep with that much shiny will kill the look and the focal point on the jeep.

I don't like diamond plate either. I'd get the flat steel option for it.

that might look better than. i still think color matched stock cladding is the best way to go.

I like the KOR cladding. Very fitting for a beast as your ZJ is turning out to be. I know you want it to look sleek and refined as well as tough and rugged, however, steel plating is just too cool not to have if you can afford it. You're living the dream of what I wish I could make my ZJ. So I'll live vicariously through ya!

^ i completely agree. i think flat plate will look just like not having it for the most part. just plain metal.

I'm pretty sure they are. It will probably look like the one on Mallcrawlin. I think you have the option of diamond plate or flat steel.
