Over the weekend I went to the junkyard and there was a niner...but everything was gone (I really want a niner grill. lol), except the roofrack...
So I bought it and installed it. I remade my lightbar, but angled the outer lights towards the side of the car to spread the light out better...much better if you ask me.
The third bar for the light bar came off a dodge caravan. Just had to cut a couple inches off the bar to make it narrow enough to fit the rack.

Forgot to mention, my dad and I finished lifting my brothers xj and replacing bushings...much better now...too bad the master cylinder for the clutch went out.
I'll get some pics of it sometime soon.

I decided to go back to the stock air box with a durango airhat...no difference compared to the k&n. Need to sell the k&n now to put that money towards something else

Also got my brother's jeep just about finished...lifted 2.5 inches or so. Replaced leafspring bushings, shackles, shocks, and trackbar. still need to get the new control arms installed though.

My dad just found a tire carrier for the xj, so we'll be installing that sometime soon too.

Went wheeling yesterday with my family and some friends and had a blast!
We went on Middle St Vrain trail and that's the most difficult trail I've done so far, and it was great...I want to go again soon!

Here is a couple pictures I have and a video...gotta get the rest from the family and friends

Right after the water crossing:

One part of the trail

I'm envying your getting to wheel. The Jeep looks nice with the additions you've done to it, and especially with the background. You've gotta love Colorado. I think your profile pic is of the Grand Tetons though? I bet those are awesome. Can you wheel much of those being as they're part of a National Park? It'd be a shame if they were off limits.

Thanks, this trip was great. My profile pic is in the tetons and that is an awesome place to visit if you ever get the chance. When I was there we found a 4x4 trail they had, but it was something any stock 4x4 vehicle could do...if it rained recently before going on it there would have been mud and thus more fun, but otherwise it was way too easy...

Still haven't gotten around to getting the other pictures from my parents...not a whole lot of exciting things happening right now.
Changed fluids, got rid of the dumb power antenna, and changed spark plugs.
However, I think I'll be ordering headers at the end of the month, and sometime soon I'll be helping my dad lift his jeep....which means I get his old shocks

This weekend was my b-day and I went offroading on Pole Hill Rd with my family and had a great time.

Here are some of the pictures:

I had a little rubbing on the front driver side tire on the pinch seam...need to bumpstop or to hammer that flat sometime.

It was really nice up there. First time on that trail too. It's just outside of Estes Park. I will go again sometime and camp up there too
