interesting...didn't expect that that plug would be there for a scan tool...thanks for letting me know.
Sorry there isn't too much exciting stuff going on in here either, as soon as I'm not as limited in time or money things might be more interesting

yeah before obd2 standards came into effect that was the plug and there are a few of them that are the same around the vehicle. there should be 3 if i remember correctly. one under the hood near the pcm, one below the radio bezel and then one next to the passengers seat.

Well I know where two of them are, but I don't think I'm going to go search for the one under the radio bezel. Lol
I fixed the efan today...it had a bad connection around the fuse...easy fix once I found it.

Well today was pretty successful. My dad and I got up early and went to the junkyard and pulled a full set of upcountry springs and I replaced the power steering pump that was on it's last leg...I'd say that is pretty good amount of work around an already busy day.
Gotta finish bleeding the pump tomorrow then drive back to school. Hopefully I'll be able to get the upcountry springs installed sometime in the next couple of weeks...we'll see how classes go.

thanks.
Nothing new yet. Very limited income and with my senior design project getting expensive i've been allocating more money towards it lately. Next week I might be swaping in a 231 if I have time since my 249 is binding, otherwise i'm just trying to save money to get trackbars and shocks.
After i graduate in May and get a job I should be updating this more often.

alright, I haven't done much lately, but earlier today I pulled a 231 with my dad but idk when I'll have time to swap it since I have to pull mine and swap inputs...might be a summer project.

I have had a problem with my K & N seating all the way on my throttle body, so I bought a 1/2" spacer and this has resolved this problem, although I had to trim my hood a little bit too.

I also decided, in my intoxicated state, to give my bumper a trim with my hack saw...came out ok, but needs to be cleaned up...

up next will be the t-case swap and trackbars and shocks...then i have no idea yet...i'll figure it out then.

Happy St. Patrick's day!

I didn't think it was too bad. I spend most of the time measuring where to put them. I was actually following this:
http://www.nagca.com/grandtech/hoodvents.htm
when I installed mine.

After class on Thursday I needed to destress, so I drove 15mins away to Vedauwoo and had some fun driving around and exploring as well as testing the flex with the swaybar disconnected:

That's all for now since my bank account is completely drained from paying rent and building/designing my senior design project...

New wheels and tires were put on yesterday

I now need to figure out what to do with the spare. I looked into drilling new holes for the studs on the tire carrier, but the studs are too short for the new wheels. I went to a lot of different stores today to find longer studs, but no one had any :/ I found them on the internet but I don't want to buy 50 or more when I only need 3...any ideas are welcome...

Also cleaned up the 231 I pulled to prepare it to get installed.
