yeah i know I wont get anything back. im doing most of it because even if I do sell it wont be for a least a few weeks and the steering NEEDS to worked on and the rear brake pads are shot. Also, if im going to sell it, i want to hand it over in good condition. I guess thats just how i am.....plus i like working on it so itll give me something to do with the rest of my vacation once I get back from Florida

haha....i cant believe I got that from you in February and still havnt installed it my steering is getting pretty loose though so its 100% going on next week. Gotta rent a ball joint tool though. Might as well do those while the knuckles are off. also gotta find a right angle drill so I can drill out the trac bar mount

didnt you get some synergy ball joints? thats what I was thinking of doing.....how are they treating you. easy to install?

They are great so far. Installed just like any other ball joint. They are definatly made a little better than your standard joint with not much more cost over moogs

ordered 2 of these to replace the axle side upper control arm mount OEM bushings......my entire front axle is going to be rebuilt shortly, should drive smooth as silk

will have:
new HD tie-rod and drag link
4 new TRE's
tie rod and drag link flipped over the knuckle
IRO trac bar drop bracket/frame brace
Currie JJ control arm mount bushings
Synergy Ball joints
Timken Unit bearings

forgetting anything?

anyone ever had any luck with the cheap ball joint kits from Harbor Freight? Im thinking of buying one for the install rather than renting the stuff that i KNOW is junk from the local parts stores......

yeah.....im probably gonna give it a shot. id love to have the Chrysler vehicle specific kit...but im not planning on changing enough ball joints for it to be worth it
