Like 2 months ago when they first got it they were asking 15000, now it's at 12400...

Only thing is the glove box is broken, and the soft top doesn't close all the way in the back.

It's a 5 speed, 4.0,... But it has been offroaded, it had mud under the carpet and in the rear cup holder. Haha. That's the only thing I'm worried about, but there is one at carnival Kia that's not lifted or anything, all stock. And they want 8,900 for it.

No it's at the one in Franklin. It's a auto with 138xxx miles.

I think the dealership would be a little skeptical if I tried to trade it in on another wj. Haha. I might look at xjs if I can't afford a tj

Ya I'd rather trade in at a dealer. But I'll have to get it all put back together and hopefully it won't knock.

I could be a srt-8 owner then! Yes!!
But I want to trade it in to a dealer first. I don't want to trade it privately.

I'll trade it in to a dealer for something I like if I can find a dealer who will trade close to even. If not, I'll get whatever will be worth the most, then sell/trade it for something I want.

alright, busy saturday for a few small projects on the jeep:

1st was a simple cleaning of my K&N intake. I am considering getting rid of it but until I actually decide, it really needed cleaning.

2nd was adding some "home made" rear spring retainers. I had done the passenger side a few weeks back with a random 2 1/2'' exhaust clamp....i picked up another one and did the driver side. Its about the cheapest and easiest way to secure your rear springs from dropping out (esp. since I dont run a rear sway bar)

3rd was a little mod I read about here a few weeks ago. A guy tack welded the slip yoke of his steering shaft to get rid of the play in the steering wheel. I have made a lot of upgrades to my steering but couldnt get rid of the 1 1/2'' or so play in my wheel. With no access to a welder, JB weld did wonders.

4th was cleaning and painting the wind deflector from my ROLA rack.....it had begun to fade and the ugly little rola logo was looking cracked. I had some DUPLI-COLOR left over so I shot it with a few coats and another coat or 2 of clear......looks much better

Can you give more detail about what you did with the Jb weld?

5th was the mod of the day. I had noticed a few days ago my 3rd brake light had gone out. In Tennessee it is not a required light so I let it go for a few days with the intentions of replacing the bulb this weekend.
Well that would be too easy and not as much fun as just painting it. I am planning on running new L.E.D. tail lights after Christmas and was going to replace it anyways but I figured why not just black it out all together so it blends into the body and basically disappears.
Used a T25 torx head screw driver to take it off, used some high build primer followed by 3 coats of dupli-color Chrysler black and 2 coats of clear. I think it turned out pretty nice

6th was simply throwing on the new stickers on the two jeeps to represent TNJEEPS.COM

yeah, basically the steering shaft has a slip in it and it can cause that SLIGHT dead spot at the top of the wheel and it has always bothered me. I could turn the wheel about 3/4'' - 1'' both sides of top dead center without the jeep moving at all. People have put tack welds on it to fix the dead spot but also allow the weld to easily break in the event of a head on collision. The slip was designed to allow the steering shaft to collapse on itself and not POTENTIALLY push through the steering wheel. I didnt have a welder so I figured a small dab on J B weld would break loose just as easily.....
