Do you remember where you connected your CB power wire? It was late, so I never finished that part of the install. I haven't looked through my fuse block for a location yet, just thought I would ask if you had could remember where yours ended up.

I used one of these (in pic below) in place of an existing fuse. I can't remember which exact fuse I used. you can either use one that has constant voltage or one that will only have power with the vehicle on. IIRC, I used one that only had power with the jeep on.

no problem. I had used them in my last vehicle along with the CB for the jeep. they are cheap and simple and work awesome!

I mounted it in the cubby hole between the heated seat buttons/power outlets. it fit perfect! I do have pics but the forum isn't letting me post pictures right now for some reason

edit: pics are on the first or second page of the build

The uniden and cobra's both fit, the narrow bodied ones anyways.

just ran to the gas station for a drink and the check engine light was on. did the key dance and it showed code p 0442 for an evap system leak
I was planning on moving the evap system this week anyways.. so im not too worried about it.
