with 400+hp from a I6 I think anyone could have fun.

Going to Uwharrie tommorow. Not driving the zj though, going to ride along. The 30 is on its last leg and right now the last thing I need is to fix a limp axle while im trying to fund my swap.

Just got back from Uwharrie, had a blast. A lot of people said Uwharrie was just a bunch of dirt roads, we found a good bit of rocks and had tons of fun on them. It wasnt crazy enough though where the open/open guy in the group couldnt work up most of it. Put a strap on him to get up one thing. If it was wet it would be a different ball game though, so much mud. I want to get my junk done so bad now and hit the trails. Its going to be awesome to not be afraid to bump it.

Anyway heres a few pics

Heres the jeep trailer that the 2 guys helping me with my LAs built. Im on the right too, dont post many people pictures here.

Started pulling apart the 44. Got the hubs spindles and shafts out. Realized I didnt have a socket big enough for the nut on the bottom of the knuckle, so we quit for today. I got Moog ball joints all the way around to replace and am replacing the axle seals. Ill try and get some pics tommorow but were getting ready for grand slam southeast so well be pretty busy.

heres some pics

Detroit in the 44. This guy left the axle sitting outside without seals so naturally it got some surface rust on it, outstanding.

Looks like the arms were cut with a torch for some reason. This one is stuck on real bad, not sure how to get it off. If anyone has any help that would be great. The driver side arm is bent too, just going to buy all new ones from Ballistic.

Yay expensive balljoints

You should be able to use a Ball Joint Separator or a Pickle Fork tool to break the knuckle free. Do you have a ball joint press to set the new ball joints?

Yeah Ive got everything to do the job. The knuckles not stuck (that highsteer arm sure as hell is though), its just I didnt have a socket big enough to loosen the bottom balljoint nut and couldnt get an adjustable in there. I rented the puller kit from autozone too so Ive got that to press them in.

Oh well, no time for shenanigans. Harlan here we come!

Just got back from Harlan at GSSE. Had a blast, never been there before and loved it. Friday was pretty fun, wheeled with a few different people. The grands were vastly outnumbered. We wheeled all day with Ryan from trucks and his wife saturday and then caught up with Matt from moonworks offroad. I only got pics from the first day, Casey has the rest on his camera and ill try to post them up when he gets them upload. Ryan got a whole bunch too that well get.

Did they have the camera crews there Ronnie? It'd be badass to see GSSE on Trucks.
