I have super rides. The Johny joints in the super flex's will be better for articulation. Depends on the length of the BDS, my fronts are fixed length and I wish they were a tad longer, its definitely nice having the adjustability. Im moving my adjsutable rears to the front though when we finally get the LAs done.

I was riding through Clemson last week and saw a ZJ your color with black wheels just get wrecked. As I drove by and glanced at it, I thought it was yours for a second. It wasn't, wasn't even lifted I don't think. You got a great build going here man. Keep it up

Yeah if I wrecked the jeep you guys would probably know about it. I havent seen that Jeep around but other people have. I got like 14 calls in 5 minutes one day when they said some guy was getting arrested in the old KFC parking lot and was driving my Jeep.

Did about 4 hours of wheeling today. Heres some pictures of the "obstacle course" the guys had set up right at the trail head.

This drop in was pretty nerve wrecking, you crossed a log bridge and then it was like an 80 degree turn. Had to check my pants after it

When I get the LAs built and get some longer shocks this wont be a problem

I got midway up that huge rock but on the other side I coulnt get my rear tire over this other rock passenger side being open in the rear.

Also I ordered my brackets and stuff from Matt at moonworks offroad (Hes an outstanding guy too btw). Its all Ballistic Fab stuff but it should be coming early next week. All I need now is the box steel, DOM, and 2 johny joints for the lowers. And a locker for the 8.8, I want to try to get one in before I put the axle under. Probably just going to go with an aussie, Id love a full case one like a detroit but getting the gears reset and the cost of it are detering me away from it.

Now when you trimmed your fenders, what did you do about the stock rocker when you had to cut it. It looks like there isnt that little gap in there any more, how did you get rid of that? I think I might cut mine like yours.

Are you talking about the front? The plastic piece that goes on the bottom? I got rid of all the plastic cladding right there. Ill try to snag a few pictures later today.

Mm just read the thread again Moony, sorry i didnt get any pictures. My friend has my camera ill pick it up tommorow and try to get some. My camera phone takes horrible pictures.

Heres a video of my oh %$@# moment I had last time wheeling, I eased on the brakes at the beginning which was a huge mistake. Also the go kart engine sound is my tire chewing up the front of the inner fender. I bump stopped and took the grinder to all that the week before but obviously I didnt do enough.

Havent updated in a while. Finished the crossmember, need to build the TC skid onto it still.

Trimmed my rear bumper, not to crazy about it but it serves its purpose and shouldnt keep getting popped out like it has been. Borrowed my friends rack for our roadtrip tommorow to myrtle beach for a week.... thousands of raging highschool seniors I might be trying to get with the coastal carolina guys and do a bit of wheeling, who knows.

(just realized my cut wasnt straight... haha Ill fix that)

IRO tie rod and a steering brace from Neil.

Its 98 degrees here, im going to wait till the sun goes down to do the tie rod. Im sweating bullets. Got the brace installed and the radiator hose is right there, its creased a tad from the brace. Will that cause any problems with the flow of coolant?

Thats the smoked grey rustoleum, pretty good match to REs paint. I think im going to paint all my suspension stuff that, my links, springs etc.

Picking this up friday. Waggy D44 w/ 4.56s, detroit, drilled and taped for high steer, warn hubs, BTF diff cover and the RE bracket kit. Ill get some wheel adapters and run this with my short arms in teh front for a while. Just need to regear the 8.8 before it goes in. Hopefully get it all done before GSSE. Ohh yeah, only $800. Thats about the same price as the detroit alone.

Obviously Ill sand blast it and make it bling bling.
