Haven't sorted the prop yet, weather too wet to be lying under a jeep, so fixed up my fan resistor pack

melted plug



soldered on some wires direct to the board pins



put back together and sealed up the plug hole


connected into the loom with bullet plugs, all working fine

Wound out the top arm an inch, has moved the axle back 1/2" and the prop is on. My adjustable arms arrive soon so I will get the pinion angle sorted as it is a touch high, no vibes though so not far off. Jeep is on the road again 8)

Front brackets first, they fit under the transfer case crossmember & bolt into the frame.



you need to drill 4x 7/16th (11mm ) new holes in the frame rail, so each bracket is held in with 8 bolts in total.



they come with a threaded bar to bolt into, getting them to line up in the rail can be tricky



I used some wire threaded through the holes and through the bar before inserting the bar into the frame rail, when the bar is in the rail it then lines up on one of the holes.



then spray the rail with frame sealer / waxoil



and bolt the bracket up, getting coated in waxoil in the process





All done, ran out of time so will fit the arms tomorrow night.

Right, 4 hours of rolling around under the Jeep & I have them installed. No real tips, it is a straight forward unbolt the arms & bolt the new ones in, a bit of a pain on your own when setting the axle angle to install the Y arm as it is heavy, other than that, straight forward.. Oh 1 PITA is the bar pins that came with my shocks are too long, & I don't want to rip them out of my old shocks as a mate is having them & my spacers for his WJ

Also installed the IRO 4" front springs and the DT shocks, which are much beefier than the Rough Country ones coming out, the the piston rod looks twice the diameter.

2 front axles & 2 transfer cases & I still have vibes from the front end. Prop is coming off & I am getting a double DC shaft made

I am currently running no rear ARB and it seems to drive well, may not fit the addco one I have, will see.

Looking very good! I ran with no rear sway bar for quite a while and it wasn't that bad. But on the trail, I really prefer the rear sway bar on and connected. It keeps the body more stable, especially on the off-camber stuff. The front I run disconnected and I let it do all the flexing for me.

The shocks have built in bump stops, perfect for 32"s


Rear coil is unseated at the top by 1"


rear bumper needs a trim



Top of the front coil is around 4" unseated

Still have vibes, just about to buy a new front propshaft with a double UJ at each end.
Retainers fitted, bottom clamps the spring, upper just guides the spring back into the seat.

Oh yes please. Plan to do a run to the Arctic circle one day in the Jeep. A friend of mine is from Malmo but is working in the middle east at the mo, as soon as he is back I will be doing my Nordic trip.
