still chasing down the front shaft vibes, bought a digital level & have the prop at 90 degrees to the pinion but sitll vibes above 60mph. Think I will try with 1 degree of up angle on the pinion to see if the bushes are flexing.

I like everything that you've done to your WJ. You do things right the first time

No update for a while. I think the transfer case is on the way out, so sourced one locally cheap, more details when I get it, not something you will see in the USA.

Also got these for £250, will sell off my steels, JK alloys are scarce on ebay in the UK

One 247 off a 3.1TD WG Grand.

Notice the rather good thing out of the factory? No slip yoke Just need to sort out getting my rear prop a slip joint fitted and I get a fairly cheap SYE (as I needed the TC anyway), been quoted £100 to get the rear prop modded

Jeep upgrade time again, shopping list is:

IRO 4"/4.5" springs (want to get rid of my spacers & a friend wants the OME springs off me)
Addaco rear ARB
front coil retainers
Doetsch Tech shocks
spidertrax 1 1/4" spacers

very tempted at long arms in the front, damn the current $/£ rate

New transfer case in, need to connect the props up in the morning, lying on the floor outside in -5c isn't nice

Interesting that the 3.1TD used a Rzeppa-joint rear driveshaft. It's got an odd vibration damper on there too.

Should be fun with all the goodies on the way!

Looking at the damper it does a good job of bracing the case, its very heavy

seems the diesel prop is about 20mm longer than the petrol one Have to wind the arms out on the rear suspension but its too cold & snowing now Stil, once done it looks like the diesel prop will cope with the suspension lift and have enough travel, so won't need to get a new shaft made up
