Uconnect App Remote Start Issues

I bought a 2015 Grand Cherokee in Oct, I have an iPhone, and downloaded the Uconnect app, at first the app couldn't do much besides pandora. Then one day it pretty much updated itself to where I could lock/unlock and start my car. I just upgraded my phone and the app has downgraded itself again. I cant figure out how to get the older version back. Jeep has no answers for me.

I can start it from my key fob, but its nice to be able to start it without having to be within a certain distance. Anyone have any experience with this?
