I'm curious about your cladding, it looks like it's painted black. What paint did you use and what kind of prep? How has it held up so far? I'm thinking of painting mine black too. My GC is the same color as yours and I think it looks better with the black cladding. Probably gonna paint my wheels black too.

Haha you'll probably find this kinda funny and cheap but.....I washed it off really well, went to dollar general and got some gloss black spray paint $1 a can, masked off the body and painted it. Haha Been through the mud, power washes, salt from the rod, power washes again. No chipping at all pretty surprised actually. Hey if it does chip or something its only a $1 a can.

So I was on Craigslist looking around and came across this older style Garmin safari rack. Looked up the original price they went for $485 + shipping. I got it for $130 Couldn't pass it up.
Been looking at the safari racks for a while now but couldn't see wasting $500 on one. All I have to say is that was a great find.

Lookin good man. Do those sliders stick out enough to use them as a step to reach the roof? I like the look of how they bend up, but don't know if I'll be kicking the doors when trying to stand on them.

Yeah you can stand on them sideways with boots, straight on with shoes. They are kinda tight to the body but very heavy duty tubing I def recommend them.

Yea I have been hearing some nightmare stories about the RC Bushings. I guess i'll just wait it out and see. Then once they start going. Ill get a poly kit for it.
