Axle shop is charging 1200 including parts pick up and delivery.

The viper remote start took about an 1.5 hours, but I researched all the wiring codes online. Hardest part was getting parking lights to stay on while remote started. It took a 1300 ohm resistor but i got it a few days later after some reading. Even turns on my defroster below 55 degrees.

Love the like have them in three other vehicles they are bright and to me appear to add clarity, but it is very subjective. But for the price they are worth trying.

Pads are smooth and very low dust. Not had many miles on them yet as I tore it all apart, but as of now I'am happy.

Sliders i ordered are for a WJ have not received them yet though. Depending on the sliders you could extend them buy adding the second bar, but at that point you might as well weld up th entire thing. I currently have no welder access or i would have made mine myself.

A buddy of mine who knows him is getting a cage built for his TJ for 100 bucks. not really sure what kinda cage though now that I think of it..

I got the XK531 off ebay for 20 bucks but it was new.

if you have the key with a chip you have to have 2 working key to program It and thats a little tough to program it as your third key.

The instructions say insert your first first key turn on for a few seconds
turn off remove
insert second key turn on
turn off remove (now th WJ is in program mode to learn a new key)
the instructions say jump the ignition wires at the column
I just bought a plain 2 dollar steal key and turn it on. I had to take the case off of the KX and hold it really close to the ignition column but it worked fine.

The only other issue I had was the parking light you actually cut the headlight parking light wire (yellow at column) and attach the end to wires in the viper. Those wires act as a passthrough and have a fuse in the brain of the viper. you pull the fuse and install a resistor there.
should have all the wiring info you need
Car Alarm, Car Stereo, Mobile Video, and Cruise Control Info for Installers

I will be MIA re-installing my axles today and hopefully relaxing tomorrow, so PM me I have no problem helping.

Wiring is pretty easy for me unlike getting my rear parking brakes re-installed last night. Took almost 5 hours! I was putting them back all wrong! I ahve never had such hatred for a mechanical as I do for those pads! FYI always take pics before you take things apart!

Back to the garage, I hope the tool gods are shining down on me today

And no i did not extend my bump stops. Bumpstops are for people who like there fenders. I am not out to make a rockcrawler so I don't expect to flex much but if need be the only thing stopping me would be my fenders, not bump stops!

Almost done! All i have left is the track bar (I broke the factory bolt and no place is open this late) and to bleed the brakes.

I'm a ZJ guy, but why does it look like the rear springs are bowing out a bit? It looks a bit like Kramer's springs did. Are you sure your springs are rotated all the way into the spring retainers?

Some advice: If/when you notice a new "rattle" coming from out back, go directly to the passenger side rear. With that sway bar drop bracket, you MIGHT find that the upper sway bar bolt now hits your exhaust pipe. It's more noticeable when making a left turn which swings the exhaust towards the right. You can wait and see if it happens on it's own or reach in and pull the pipe with your hand.

That was the springs with no weight they settled fine.

As for the exhaust i just added a new muffler and headers and when i did I used my original over axle pipe and it was the opposite it was rattling the gas tank shield. I loosened the clamp and moved it some so i have plenty of room.

My caster is at 2 degrees I wonder if i will get drive line vibs? i am not planning on dropping my tcase. Angles look good comparative to my TJ.

Those are really cool looking but my wife wants something she can use as a step to help her get in. (shes, 5'1") but i also want something i can us to stand on if the case of getting stuck i wont have to sink knee deep in mud to hook up so its a win win. plus I like the idea behind kevins new sliders that are 7.5" away from the pinch weld to help keep branches and stuff from scratching the sides of the jeep.

something to think about. you may REALLY regret the lack of bumpstops when you fold a fender up. OUCH!!!!!
