I got the 1" spacers from a member here on Jf, dont really know where he got them from. I traded him my old 2" bb for his 1". I know your feeling, mine was sitting 1" higher in the front thats why i added spacers to the rear. I think your best bet would be ebay. But i think (i could be wrong) that Kevins offroad makes 1" spacers.

KOR has 3/4"... I have some 3/4 rears that I got off of ebay that I am going to use for now, that will give me 1/4" higher in the rear. I will go a little higher in a few months...thanks for the follow up!

well nothing really new to add but a picture i took at work after some of the snow melted. Also I just took in a 79 bronco on 33x12.5 15's for junk, and guess what else it has? A 9' ford rear diff and a HP 44 front! Man i wish i could afford the time and the extra cash to put those and the 33's under the wj. I think the 33's would fit with my lift height of 5" with some fender trimming but they are a little wide for my liking. But man those diffs would be sweet!

Probably the biggest reason is because the front axle has the diff on the driver side.

Yes, that's why they're popular. Most Jeep and Ford models have the same front axle configuration (diff location wise). Meaning they can use the stock Jeep transfer case in the event of an axle swap.

yes to all of the above. Not to mention a ton more aftermarket support as i.e gears, high strength axles, and lockers. Also the ford 9in. is a super strong diff. Its used in most every high horsepower application, not to mention the ease of dissasembly with everything being contained in the 3rd member.

Look what i picked up today New 4.7L for the limited. This means once i get the limited on the rack i can put the laredo on the rack next to it and finally get the d44a/d30 variloks out from under the wifes and into mine! Which also means when i do that i can finally install all the other crap i have sitting on my toolbox waiting for install.

Did a photoshoot yesterday for an charity event were planning called crush for kids. Finally got to flex out a little bit with the sway bar disco'ed. I was rather impressed with my short arms, but did find out the rear bumper need a little trimming.

Some pics from the Jeeps For GI's run we did. We did a re-supply for the veterans shelter in Kent Ohio

New meaning to the word grocery getter

Looks like i have no more lift in the rear

Me and my buddies XJ. Most all of us ran flags so we knew who was in the group.

One of my favorite pics from the event

Best pic i have of almost the whole group

SOME of the food from the re-supply. This is their dinning room, this is after we overloaded their pantry.

Got the D44a pulled out today, broke another brake line in the process. The list of needed repairs while engine and drivetrain are out is slowly growing bigger and bigger though. But while getting this out i re-realized (if thats a word) how much i enjoy doing this type of stuff. Really wish i could get a small seperate shop to do this kind of stuff all day! Maybe someday.

Next comes cleaning prepping and painting the axles and the new motor. Then pulling my jeep in and taking its axles out and swapping them with the variloks. Then installing my old axles in the limited along with its new motor. All this needs to be done in 2 weeks as thats when the stork is supposed to bring my daughter. After she is here there wont be much working late anymore.
