This is what I got:

http://www.pscmotorsports.com/motors...-hose-kit.html

Not sure what the rating is since it hasn't come yet, but all their other hose is goodyear so far...

Picked up a Everlast Power Ultra 250P last night. It can be used for Stick and DC TIG welding as well asa Plasma cutting up to 5/8 steel . Only thing I plan on using it for is as a plasma cutter. This machine along with my Thermal arc 185tsw TIG welder puts me one step closer to making aluminum/uhmw skids.

You got a damn good deal on that thing too. How clean of cuts does it make? The one I used during my lift was horrible, but it had really bad old tips that needed replacement. On the other hand I saw someone outboarding shock mounts and cutting the frame with one, and it looked only slightly rougher than a grinder cut.

I might have to rent that from you when I do my outboard.

I dont know how well it cuts yet, I have to order a set of cones, consumables, and an air dryer before I use it.

Ah! Of course with a deal like you got it would need consumables, figures.

I bought it knowing that it needed consumables. It can take harbor freight consumable but I chose to stick with everlast. 85 shipped for a 25 piece set puts me at 535 for a working plasma cutter (the TIG and Stick torches and pedal assembly are brand new never used), not bad for a 2 year old unit thats 995 new.

As far as the steering goes, box is competely tapped. Ill be cleaning it and re-assembling it tomorrow. Just been super busy trying to put our John Deer front end loader back together, havent been getting long lunch breaks.

Nah, this one is die hard! Then again, it was built back when things were built to last. Its a 76 John Deere 544B

Man in the shiny brown van just dropped off my ram. Scored a lightly used psc 1.5" bore, 6" stroke ram off of Pirate4x4. Im happy to report that so far im into my hydro assist steering for under the 300 dollar mark as far as parts go. That includes: Gearbox and Pump seal kits, 2 snap-on 1/4 npt taps, 2 drill bits, -6AN adapters for the gear box and the cooler, Derale heat sink cooler, and now the ram.

Looks like all the rest of the fittings, and hoses to plumb the ram, cooler, and power steering hoses are going to be right around 160 or so. Then the tube clamp to bolt the ram to the tie rod is 42.00, then prolly about 20 bucks in metal to make the axle side mount. Im shooting to be under the 500 dollar mark once its all finished and I actually get a chance to add up the receipts.

I've always wanted to just ram a vehicle and stab it with one of those.
