Been busy with the Jeep and work, so I haven't had time to update, but I've been DD'ing it since last Saturday and it's awesome. I put just over 200 miles on it this week with just a few small issues. There's a little boogey around 47-52MPH, I think the tires just need to be balanced, and the right rear tire keeps going flat. It seems like some crap built up on the bead, so I'll get it dismounted and cleaned soon. Last night Squash and The Danimal helped me mount the hitch, and Squash installed the swaybar disco's. Man what a difference they made in ride quality, it's been years since I've driven a lifted Jeep with swaybars. I haven't had a chance to snap any pictures in the light, but I should get some tomorrow when I take it wheeling. I'm headed out with some guys from the club I just joined (www.undergroundjeeps.net) for an easy run to scratch the wheeling itch. There's some ther stuff going on I'll update once the parts pile grows a little, in the mean time here's a picture of what I spent this week working on.

I don't know actually. I was turning around to leave a friends house after wheeling, and suddenly had no brakes. A quick check sowed the caliper hanging, with the piston popped out. Luckily he had a spare caliper, and bolts to replace the MIA ones. The other good thing? You can do brakes on a D30 without pulling the wheel if you run 17's

Washed it today and finally took some decent pictures. It still needs some serious buffing and waxing, but at least it's clean now.

It's sitting on 4.5" RE coils up front, OEM I6 front coils in the rear, RE short arms, RE HD front TB+JKS adjustable rear TB, and Bilstein 5125's F/R. It rides great on road, and did well offroad, but I'm considering swapping the rear springs out or adding a spacer. I like the look, but I don't have much uptravel now and I'm trying to stay away from cutting up the body for the time being. I might just bumpstop it, I'll wheel it a few more times before I decide.

On another note I'll be picking up a free 258 next weekend, so I guess the stroker build is starting sooner than I thought. I'm planning to do some minor porting, 99+ manifold, cam(not sure which one yet), header(also not sure which one yet), and maybe some roller rockers. In the meantime I'll swap the 99+ intake/header onto this engine to fix the exhaust leak and then beat it like it owes me money.

Started trussing the Turdy today. The kid I got the housing from had hacked some TB bracket onto it, so I cut that off and I'll be replacing it with a T&T bracket for OTK steering, and running the JCR 1ton set-up. I'll plate in the other side of the PS UCA mount after that's installed. Once the back plate's made I'll drop two 1.5" pieces of pipe through the center section to strengthen it, and act as badass speedholes. Then I'll add the IRO inner C gussets, weld the tubes and hope it lasts me a few seasons.

Thanks. I wanted Ravines like you have, but these were too good of a deal to pass up.

Got a little more work done on the truss. The T&T bracket should be here next week, along with a new flex joint for when I shorten my TB.

SPEEDHOLZ! Forgive the ugly welds, I haven't played with a MIG for a while...

I put two ribs inside to help strengthen it. Overkill? Probably, but I don't want to bend another housing.
