Finally took a few pictures of the carnage from the past few weeks

I guess the bumper will take a hit without a problem...

I've been working on a back bumper too, I'll get some pictures of that soon.

Bumper is coming along, obviously it's far from finished, but progress is progress, right?

Sharp eyes will notice I put the new back door on, anyone tell the difference?

Hey at least it fit!

Are you gonna replace the front quarter panel, or are looks a lost cause at this point? Itll probably just get smashed again...

I'm going to try to pop the front fender back out, we'll see how well it goes. I would just mount up a new one, but the inner fender is bent too and I could never get it to line up.

Did a bunch of work on the bumper this weekend, and got it almost ready for paint. I'm hoping to mount it Wednesday night so I can wheel Saturday. Here it is just mocked up, no bolts, to see how it looked/fit.

There's always been a factory skid on there, and it will go back on before the Jeep gets wheeled. Thanks for the compliments, it took a while to get done but I'm happy with it.

Updated, getting closer...

I also flushed the ATF out of the PS system to see if it quieted it down, and it helped some, but I think I may have gotten a junk reman pump, so I might warranty that before NACfest.

Went wheeling today, Jeep did great, went up just about everything I pointed it at and didn't break for a change.

Does anyone realize what's special about this picture?

A nice shot of the back bumper

Ha, never. This body is getting beaten like a cheap whore, then we'll see what happens. Part of me wants to build another ZJ and do it right from the start, ie plate it front to rear with a hybrid cage, tubbed fenders, rocker cutouts and just overall better planning, with this drivetrain. Another part of me wants to say **** unibodies and build a TJ. For right now I'm just going to have fun with what's left of this thing.

Thanks man, I love the way it sits. It's not too high, or too low, and it just looks mean. IMO 35's at 4.5" is great on a ZJ, and 37's would fit with only minor work. Can't wait to see some pics of yours with the new tires!
