2 stroke 125, aftermarket exhaust, tuned Factory Connection forks and rear shock, ProTaper bar, all new plastics, new seat, new grips and throttle tube with newish Maxxis rubber. It's a BIG step up from the 107cc pit bike we have, and scared the **** out of me when I took off the first time. I think I hit ~45 in second, I can't imagine what it'll do in sixth

Wow, I hadn't stopped back in here since you first popped a note in my thread. Some nice work since then! That truss is ridiculous, ha ha.

What's the status on the axle and rockers?

Nothing like hitting the power band for the first time on a real dirtbike. In no time youre going to want to move up to a 2 stroke 250, now THAT has a powerband.

Thanks man. I want to get my car back on the road before I tackle the rockers, and I just haven't got around to working on the axle lately. I've been building a trussed Waggy 44/8.8 for a club member, 4.88's, locked etc, and I've been screwing around on the bike. I'll get back into it soon though.

Yeah it certainly woke me up haha. I think I'll be happy with this one for a while, it's plenty quick.

Small update. I wheeled a little last weekend, and had a good time. Nothing crazy but it was nice to get out. I also ****ed my hand up pretty good last week, so lost a lot of time that could have been spent on the Jeep. I'm almost back to 100% now, so it's time to GSD foolz.

Tonight I pulled the tank out of my VW so I can start DDing it again. Once it's done, hopefully tomorrow, I can park the Jeep for a few weeks and crank out the front axle, and the rocker cut-outs. To pull the tank you have to pull the rear end, luckily it's lighter and even easier than pulling one from a Jeep.

Just ordered the overhaul kit for the HP30, and the knuckle spacers to go to WJ brakes. Now all I need is time...

Been being lazy lately, and spending more time on two wheels than four between the KX and my mountain bike. I did however wheel this past Sunday with the club, and had a blast, no pictures unfortunately. I went through and greased the Jeep tonight, then checked the front end because I've been having some wobble after beating on it. I found I need DS balljoints and a new draglink. Looks like it's hammerdown time on the new front axle because there's no way I'm wasting money of this one. I'll try to have the housing finished next week, then install the gears next weekend then just install it and beat it.

I'm surprised it took this long for someone to ask. You'll have to google it to find out though...

Today sucked. I started by messing around with the Rabbit again, and it still won't start. I'm pretty sure I ****ed something up when I took the pump apart last fall without a manual/any idea what I was doing. So I figured I'd finish up the welding on the new HP30 to get it ready for the swap. We had welded the truss to the pumpkin the other day, and I think I overdid it with the rosebud, because the tube bent upwards right where the truss stops. Looks like I wasted the housing, luckily I had only welded the inner C gussets in on one side, hopefully I can cut them off and save them. Not really sure what my plan is now, but it looks like the locker/OTK steering and rockers are on hold until I get a new DD. This totally ****s up my plans to get the Jeep done...
