Stupid tricks that work

You guys have any what others might consider stupid tricks concerning your Jeep? One that I have is that I use my leaf blower to dry it off after a wash, and same in the winter, to get the snow off. Hey you might laugh, but it works pretty good.

Two:

1. It has 256K on it because I never let a woman drive it. Not dents, either.
2. Instead of replacing the fabric on the headliner, I pulled it out, removed the fabric and foam, then sprayed truck bed liner on it before repacing it. Looks great and it will never hang down again.

Don't buff your headlights, you're wasting your time. Instead buy new TYC housings for $15 or so from RockAuto. Cheaper than a quality buff-your-headlights kit, longer-lasting, and they come with free bulbs.

Been there. Works fine until you are pulling a boat at 70 Mph on a Houston freeway and someone opens a window because your freon ( r134a) is low and the compressor stopped engaging.

Warning: Headliner fabric flapping in your face impairs your lane changing abilities, among other things.

I have, since she was new. Same engine and tranny. No rebuilds....yet. Nothing but Castrol 10-30 in it, either.

Looks like you had some issues with PCM's though. You must be glad to finally have that sorted out.

Original tranny after 256K? I'm jealous. I'm on my 3rd at 205K. Of course, I'm the original owner...

Is that miles or KM? I only ask because your profile says you're in BC.
