Looking good, I wish I had been there for the statewide meet. Keep up the wheeling...

4"RC lift, 1" bb in the rear, 33" BFG/AT, Rugged ridge winch, Protofab bumper, Hi-Lift jack, Viair air kit, KOR rear bumper, Aussie Lockers front and rear.

Nice Jeep and good job!

Got a question. On the last set of pics...it looks like you have a CB antenna in back? Is it mounted to the roof rack? I got a ROLA rack myself and want to mount it to the back bar and was wondering if you had any grounding issues and where you grounded it. Any pics of the setup would be great. Also where you mounted the CB inside. I am having a hell of a time figuring out where to mount it so it looks good and isn't easy to steal.

Yea I have some pictures right here. People say the CB gets in the way where I have it mounted but I dont really have a problem with it. Im only 5.7 and 160 pounds so Im not all that big. But maybe other people might find it in the way.

Thanks for the quick response!

That's exactly where I want to put the antenna and I have been considering that area for the radio. I'm 5'8" myself and as long as I am not banging my knees on it, that position will work for me too.

You didn't need to run any separate ground for the antenna? It must have good grounding thru the rack and the stock rack then. I was concerned about grounding that way and was looking for someone who went the same way I did.

Nope no ground wire. I havent had an issue. What would symptoms of a bad ground be?

I dont have an SWR to tune it with. Personally I dont think it would matter all that much considering 9 time out 10 the person I'll be talking to over the CB will be 5 car links away from me. If you tune yours I would be curious to see what yours says.

I have my electric brake controller mounted where you have your CB. Otherwise that would be a good location.

Yea I want to put it in the center console but for now this will be fine. Volvite, do your front control arms on your RCX lift clunk?
