Even then you are committing to owning that vehicle for a good chunk of time before you break even and starting realizing a savings...

It is nice to have a second vehicle for when your primary vehicle breaks down, etc, but if you're buying purely to save money, there's a 95% chance you'll be disappointed.
Yea, that makes sense. I'm going to hold off till the summer to do anything. I'll figure something out. Thanks for all of yalls experience. It helps a lot to think out loud and get other opinions. Thanks guys!

Not sure yet.... I think its gunna be bad valve seals and seats. I'm considering getting HO heads w/ cams from work new with a 2 year warranty instead of have them machined.

Oh for sure. Rule of thumb: when it breaks, UPGRADE!

I have noticed a small leak from my power steering hoses. What should I do? Should I try and repair the return line with some new hose and new worm clamps? Or just buy a new hose?

Im just going to replace the pressure line. Would this cause my pump to whine? Maybe its getting air in it?

I don't think the return side holds that much pressure, it might be okay to repair like that. How much is a new hose though?

The pressure line is $30 I can't find the return line... Maybe because it's fixable?

That's what I needed to know. I'll just cut the line and put a new rubber hose on the fitting with worm clamps. Will that work?
