Yea, I don't think it's expected. I shouldn't be burning oil until 150k+. I don't know. I'm stumped. Still waiting on good weather... /:

yeah, but you don't know the full history, so you could be burning oil really at any time if it wasn't taken care of. Also, every engine isn't going to be exactly the same. you may have some burnin at 100k, and some not till 180k...it really is a crap shoot, esp if you haven't owned it since mile 1

Looking really sharp! Did you ever trim fenders?

Hope all goes as well as possible for your engine.

Thanks! And no I haven't. I'm gunna trim them when I get my bumpers!

I also hope everything goes well with my motor. It would be a shame if I had to rebuild it. I would prolly bore it or something like that.

Yea, a 5.0 would be sick. I don't think it can be done tho. And yea I'm at 103k. I hope it's just valve seals.

Oh... well bore it to a 350 and get some chevy parts... idk hahahaa

I have not heard much about stroking the V-8 most everyone is happy with the V-8 power

Thankfully I can just buy a Golen engine drop in that will produce 270 HP.

different type of engine design. I know the 4.0 has iron sleeves in it and you can easily bore it out. I think the 4.7 is a different design with much smaller bore spacing so you do not have enough meat between the cylinders to bore them very much if any at all.

Ah did not know that there was less space between each cylinder. Something that I did not know.
