Bought to just buy a piece of metal, paint it black, bolt it to roof bars, put 4x lights on it. do all the wiring myself. going to run a relay/switch system... Keep high amp wires out of the cabin as much as possible.

There are some really sweet front bumpers out there, not so much the rear. something that does not have any sharp corners and is really smooth and clean. ha. Ive seen some rear bumpers that look kind of clunky and square and it does not flow with the lines of the WJ at all

Jeep looks good. Did you use vht nightshade to paint your rear taillights? I also dig the rims. I like the blacked out look. I want to paint my moab rims black. No more chrome/silver on my jeep, just black and blue. I thought you were looking at a kennesaw rear tire/bumper? Did that fall through?

Yea, I used VHT. Turned out good! I still want the rear bumper/carrier but I dont have $800 lying around for it... I'll show you the bumper I REALLY want.

Still too much money :/

I really want to try to build one. I just need a cut off wheel and a welder and I think I could make one. I made a lot of stuff in high school. I need to find a job at a metal shop!

Yea i've seen that one too. I just saw that kennsaw sells both a front and rear individually for less than 1k each where protofab both are over 1k.

Protofab is WAYYYY too expensive. I really like the kennsaw but they look out dated... Is that just me?

Yea I think a little outdated, but I'd take it over the price of protofab.

plus the protofab looks like it is mean to accept the iceland flares too...meaning if you don't get them, your bumpers will stick out on the sides...which I don't like personally

that's my goal, and why I want to learn how to weld. I think LSR is the best looking one out there. I wonder if Greg offers the plans for do-it-yourselfers...
