I think there are a couple threads on the forum that show a WK alternator fits and has a higher output. I think it would be a simple upgrade to allow more amprage for any of your additions to the electrical system.

+1 This has definately been on here somewhere, I have also read about the durango Alt working as well, but there were modifications required IIRC. I think the WK is just plug and play

I know I'm bringing up some old info here but found this TSB on Wjjeeps.com:

http://www.wjjeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wj_090100a.pdf

It's about the nasty foam that builds up in the oil cap on a 4.7.

you can get cheap alternators with lifetime warranty anywhere, just get a new one and call it done.

Yea, that's the plan. I also get 20% off at Autozone. So I'll just do that. Maybe Friday!

I think I'm just gunna get this and call it done for now.

I want this but I wont be able to open my hatch. I need a better solution. This is getting frustrating having that thing up there.

IMHO... I am not a fan on the tires on the rear like that on the WJ's... I think that is more a TJ etc thing.

Can you order whole new painted bumpers to match the Dub from somewhere? I have always wanted to order front and rear bumpers and side trim in the color of my Dub.

I believe Iceland will paint in color requested... but I wanted the Limited look and not the Laredo look. all the plastic to be painted to match Dub, like yours is.

Yea i am sure that would cost tons of money either way.

I am currently working an offroad lighting 'thing' for 50 bucks.

Yea, I have some lights I need to mount too. I just don't know yet. I definitely want a front bumper and want to build a rear tire carrier of some sort.
