good luck man. we had to cut a couple of mine when we did the head gaskets. theyre cheap at the dealership tho if it makes you feel any better

Whenever you get the manifold off do you just soak the stud in some PB Blast and get a pair of vice grips on it and try and turn it out?

Once I got my manifold off, the broken off stud turned out by hand with no effort whatsoever.

I hope that is the case with mine!!! Its not getting any louder but I have lost horsepower. Which makes sense. Im tired of getting high as a kite on the fumes...

Loving the Jeep build so far! Quick question, when upgrading your new headlights to HID's, did you need only one set for high or low beams? Are do you need two for both high/low beams?

I got low beams. Do you have the stock headlights?

ALRIGHT!! I finished the driver side valve cover gasket and exhaust manifold gasket! Everything is GREAT! I also replaced both broke exhaust studs Im really please at how easy it was. Now time to do the other valve cover gasket. Im not excited about doing the passenger side. Its gunna be a *****.

I remember looking down the passenger side and thinking that we are all lucky that it seems to be the drivers side that has the broken stud/gasket problem. Things are messy over on that side.

I I get the privilege to change the valve cover gasket on the passenger side tomorrow. That will be a blast

Currently I do. I plan on going the ebay route as well. I may do fog lights too. After examining the headlight assemblies more on ebay, I see just one is a projector style headlights. Low beams as you say.

Well the after market headlight asrmblys use H1 bulbs. So you hids won't work. /:
