So my PCV Valve was bad and I burnt through a quart of oil.... How cool is that?!?! NOT!!!!!

I got a new one and now it running WORLDS better. Im gunna get all new fluids hopefully next week. AMSOIL is what I shall you. Im gunna have a shop replace my transfilters and fluid. Its faster and I dont wanna do that messy job. Im gunna see if they can tighten up the bands a little to see if that will help lock up better.

Amsoil is the ****! I have it in my engine and both diffs.

Why not see about a trans line pressure booster for $50?

NVM I found it. It just makes the shift firmer?

It makes the tranny apply more pressure to make it lock up better. It dose the same thing as the resistor in the Transgo shift kit but without having to cut and solder a resister in the harness, this just plugs in with no mess. The Superchips programmer does the same thing.

Quote:
#45LPB / #68LPB. This family of transmissions uses a full range line pressure sensor mounted on the outside of the transmission for "closed loop" line pressure control. Due to this system, traditional methods of raising line pressure by changing the PR spring or valves have no effect. This Line Pressure Booster alters the pressure signal sent to the computer causing the computer to raise line pressure. The 68RFE has a 10-15 PSI increase and the 45RFE and 545RFE has a 15-30 PSI increase. Higher line pressure increases clutch holding power and torque capacity. Changes in shift feel will be noticed mostly under aggressive driving or loaded conditions. This part is ideal for heavy duty and modified vehicles and even stock transmissions when a little extra pressure is desired. No other modifications are required. The Line Pressure Booster installs between the pressure sensor and vehicle harness using OEM style sealed connectors. Simply unplug the vehicle harness and reconnect with one of these parts

Put a shift kit in while you're in the trans.

Those joints didn't last very long....

I might do that when I change them next time. Wallet is a bit tight right now. What am I saying... It's always tight for jeep parts. But it's never tight when the girl wants something. Am I wrong guys??
