Hey man, i see in your info you have the 242? What all did you have to do to make it work? Driveshaft work? Was it pretty easy for the install?

Yea man, it was REALLY easy to install. I got one out of a V8 WJ and got a drive shaft for $350. I actually was running out of time with my schedule and had to do it by myself. Drop the cross member and unbolt the old one pull it off, pop the new one on and bolt it in. It took me 3 hours by myself. It was hands down the best thing I have done to my jeep. If you want more step by step details let me know. I can type it out for you.

Cool, i know I want to find a 242hd one off carpart, they are pretty cheap there. Was the DS you got shorter or longer than the one you had previously? Also, im assuming you got the new bezel? Got a pic?

Bama is right, except you will still have to take the GF out like nothing has changed; because "Honey, we are going to Mickey Ds tonight instead of Olive Garden so I can save money for Jeep parts" just doesn't work.
