Yeah I still want 245s but I want the tire to be taller off the ground, 245/65r16s. last year in CT we got something like 15ft and soooo many roofs collapsed it was crazy! I'm excited for this winter I hope it's just as good.

6 meters as in approx 18 feet of snow?? Hah. That's awesome. You say that's not much there which I can believe. But here, that'd destroy us hahaha

There is a ski resort out in Nevada called Mammoth Mountain and they get snow like you describe and there is almost alawys enough soft pouder to jump off the lift into it and ski back down!

I am running 245/70/16 full time. I may go to 255/70/16 next tire set because it is a bit wider and I need that for driving on the beach!

6 meters Are 19.6 ft.

I may Go 255/70/16 for winter tires myself when i need new ones. The set i have will be good for this session though. This is because i want the Wider stance/look to fill out the wheel well and Get the tires to sit flush with the body.

245 Looks soooo small on the Jeep.

I see some with the 235/75/16 or something like that and they are super skinny and look terrible.

I want 255/70/16 for the added width and the 0.5 inches diameter over the 245/70/16 which is a 29.5 inch diameter tire.

Yup those are 30 inch tires! Cool!

I need to figure out if the 255/70/16 tires are wider then the 245/70/16 tires.

Yes they Are by 10mm, 245=245mm and 255=255mm

Profile Are sidewall height in percent of width, ex. 255/50/20, 50% of 255 mm.

Last number size of rim/wheel.

I often use tiresize calculator at 1010tires.com.
